Ground Lease

Here you can build and use a house without having to buy land. You enter into a contract, usually for a limited time of 99 years. In return, you pay a fixed ground rent to the landowner.

Banks generally view public lessors like municipalities or churches as unproblematic. Many banks are unwilling to finance with private lessors.
