Loan-to-Value Ratio

What percentage of the property is financed by the bank. The Loan-to-Value (LTV) Ratio refers to the appraised value by the bank (= loan value) of a property, not the purchase price.

Example: A property costs 500,000 euros and thus has a loan value of 450,000 euros (10% security deduction). With a loan amount of 330,000 euros, the LTV ratio amounts to 73%.
