Maintenance Reserve Fund

The Condominium Act (§ 21 para. 5 WEG) stipulates that regular lump sums must be paid for the rectification of emerging damages and deficiencies in communal property. Who pays how much depends on the floor space of the condominium units.

A rule of thumb states that they generally range between 0.8% and 1.0% p.a. of the construction costs.
